Anne Foundas, MD
Dr. Anne Foundas, who was raised in New Orleans, is a board-certified neurologist with over 20 years of experience. She graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and attended the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans where she received her Medical Degree. She completed her Neurology residency and fellowship training in Cognitive and Behavioral Neurology at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
Dr. Foundas’ clinical practice at Neuro Care of Louisiana, in collaboration with NOLA Brain and Behavior, focuses on patients with cognitive disorders with a special interest in Alzheimer’s disease, including early diagnosis and treatment. Her clinical mission is to promote brain health.
She is an accomplished clinical researcher and has extensive experience in graduate and undergraduate medical education. She was Director of the Neurology Residency Training Program at Tulane University School of Medicine, Vice-Chair of Clinical Research in the Department of Neurology at the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans, and Chair of the Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine.
In collaboration with Neurocare of Louisiana, Nola Brain and Behavior provides a Neuro Cognitive clinic every Thursday morning in the Slidell Clinic.
